It’s time to add another “S” to the Stitching Sisters–Sensational!Thank you for making the trip to CT. You are always welcome and next time we’ll arrange a Manhattan clam chowder taste test! With hugs and thanks,

Michelle Wagner “Just attended The Stitching Sisters in Pittsburgh. I felt like I was meeting movie stars. Thanks for all the embroidery lessons. My favorite was making the “In the hoop, zippered eye glass case.” I was amazed how easy it was to make! I plan to make some for gift giving. Thanks Eileen & Marie!”
Paula Roney “Thank you for such an inspiring, fun filled two day event in Pittsburgh. My sister and I had a blast and enjoyed every minute. The Stitching Sisters are the BEST!”
Jan Loibl “I just returned from the Stitching Sisters event in Pittsburgh, 2-10 & 2-11, and let me tell you, I learned some really COOL things such as embellishing with a little dot, (won’t give away the secret) and a cool thing with a nightlight.
Anyway, if you can attend this event in your city, I highly recommend that you go. These ladies are fun, funny and fabulously talented. I had a really great time. I can’t wait to start the Butterfly quilt from their Stipple collection.”
Hi! Iam looking forward to the San Antonio event. I plan on being there and can’t wait to see what you have in store. I recently purchased HO HO Holiday Stipples and I LOVE IT!!!!! Keep bringing us more of the stipples!!!
Lynne
I’m pretty new to machine embroidery and I have the
Baby Lock Palette 6 program. I’m still trying to figure out all
the programs but it’s slow going. I like reading your magazine as I get a lot of ideas and tips for stablizing and using different fabrics. Thanks for the information.
Can you bring this to Indiana????? That would be awesome! I went to Martha Pullen’s SOAF this summer and it was so fun. I would love to have some of the great designers come to Indiana. We sew here too!!! Looks like a great experience.
INDIANA!!! Yes!!! I recently returned from a wonderful week SEWING AT SEA with Eileen and her sister, Marie! What a great time we had – and such a wealth of knowledge! Beautiful projects were brought home, and great friendships kindled! Their seminars are the BEST!!!
Eileen and I had a sew much fun in Antonio this past weekend. We were so happy to bring our event to Texas, finally. Antonio is a beautiful city. Thanks to Creative Sewing for inviting us.
Eileen and Marie,
Thanks so much for coming to KC! LOVED the event and all your stories/energy. WOW! It was awesome to have a brief 2 days to get to study under you and learn so much. LOVE the Stipple products and techniques. Looking forward to seeing you again!
Judy Brennan
We don’t have another Texas event scheduled at this time but we will be heading to Louisiana in September, 2011. The site is to be determined at this time.
Hi – what level of experience do you need to have to attend and is it for any type of machine? I have a Bernina Quilters Edition with embroidery module. Thansk!
Hi Charlotte,
All embroiderers benefit from attending a Stitching Sisters event because the focus is on 50 different techniques. You’ll learn how to nail placement, take the fear out of hooping and achieve professional results in all of your embroidery projects. Currenty, the events are conducted on Baby Lock or Brother embroidery machines (provided for participants at each event). But the techniques are definitely transferrable to any machine brand. I hope you’ll join us soon!
I love your Stipplie patterns, so far I have purchased the Butterflies, Shells and leaves. It would be great if you do a winter one, like snowmen, or Christmas ornaments.
Hugs Karen
Hi I went to your apple valley show and you said if I email you and bought the stippling quilt for christmas you would email the 2 bouns patterens that you didn’t have with you. I bought the autumn, geo, strips and the christmas. I love the sea shells so I will be getting that too.
Hope you remember. I would love to have them. Had a lot of fun
Would love to attend any classes of confrences in Michigan. I am so interested and lould lobe to benifit from your teachings. Are you ever coming to Michigan? I am in Mid Michigan.
It is so neat to have found your site. I now receive the magazine, which I dearly love. There are so so many tips and wonderful ideas. I feel I have learned more from only one magazine and your blog and other things on the site than from anything else since I have had my machine. Thanks so much.
Marge from Florissant, MO
My sister Rhonda and I attended your show in Atlanta on Jan. 28 & 29, I really enjoyed meeting you two and learned a lot, you ladies really know your stuff and work very hard at shows. Best of everything to you both!
Eileen and Marie, we had so much fun in Atlanta. The information you gave and taught us was immeasurable. You two are definitely gifted in your talent and love for the embroidery industry.
Best blessings in everything you done.
Signed Had fun in Atlanta
It was great meeting you Patricia. Everyone absolutely adored your Pretty Princess – you’ve done an excellent job on that project and I’m glad you shared it with everyone. I think that was a good idea to how everyone how deserving you were of winning all those prizes! I only wish we had all given you a dollar to buy lottery tickets! After all – it was definitely you’re lucky day!
I stil can’t believe I won that many prizes. Thanks again for coming to Santa Rosa. It was a great event. A magnetic hoop is now on my wish list. Thanks also for DME. I’ve been a subscriber for many years. It has been a vicarious embroidery fix when there wasn’t enough time in the day to feed my “habit”. Now I finally have time to get back to all those projects in the magazine that I’ve wanted to do, like the Pretty Princess. You keep me inspired. Keep up the great work!
Hello,
I, and my friends, so enjoyed spending the week-end with you and Marie in Santa Rosa. We learned a lot, and I was afraid that after attending your seminar in Sacramento last year that it might be too much of the same; happily that was not the case! We enjoyed every bit of it, and we look forward to attending another one. If you are going to Eddie’s Quilting Bee, the original Eddie is my step-brother’s cousin! I guess it really is a small world.
Hope you made it home without any travel nightmares, the weather now is absolutely beautiful, and I wonder why it waited until we were all home to turn warm.
Take care, and thank you for all of your wonderful help.
Hi Peggy!
It was great to have you in Santa Rosa – in the front row no less! It’s always very comforting to see a familiar face in the crowd. And the chocolates were amazing, Peggy. Thank you for that lovely gift. Marie and I got home safely – thankfully an uneventful travel day. Thank you for joining us twice! Take care, Peggy.
I’ve been getting your magazine since the very first publication. I really love reading it.
Any chance that you might be coming to Florida anytime? It sure would be fun to go to one of your seminars.
Hi Donna! Marie & I are scheduled to teach at the Sewing Studio in Maitland, FL on Nov. 4-5. Click here for more information: http://www.sewing.net/
Hope to see you there!
Dear Eileen & Marie,
We had so much fun in Santa Rosa with you. I just talked to Terri and she did one of the bears yesterday. It was frustrating, thread breaks and all, but she got it done. So between the three of us she is off and running with her Ellisimo. Thanmk you again,
Helen
Hi Helen,
Good to hear from you! Marie & I really enjoyed the weekend in Santa Rosa and you ladies were a hoot! Thanks for sharing the two days with us. Say hello to the rest of your gang!
Eileen,
I’m so glad you and Marie enjoyed the chocolates I made. I tried to think of a little gift to thank you for all of your efforts, and who can go wrong with chocolate? When I am sewing, (or unfortunately, unsewing), nothing helps the frustration like a little bite of it. You put so much work into making such a good week end for all of us, I just wanted to do something back for you.
We enjoyed everything about the seminar, and it was so interesting to hear about all the different things your sisters do.
My friend Pat and I are looking forward to you coming back this way, we want to do it again!! We would love to be able to go on your cruise, but I don’t think we can do it this year.
Thank you.
The latest issue is the best ever. Can’t wait to start on the coupon organizer. The information is so clear and good, I am not afraid to attempt any of the designs.
Hey Everyone! I’d highly recomend going to the Sewing Sisters Event if you get the chance. I live in Oregon and I went to Puyallup WA June 4th and 5th with my friend from Longview WA. We had a great time! I personally never won anything but I did receive a wealth of knowledge and inspiration not to mention all the fun ladies I met and new friendships made. The projects we did were great and we got the CD-rom to go home to make more. I’m really looking forward to the next event! Thanks Eileen and Marie!! It was great meeting you!
Perhaps you could make it to Southern Maryland one day. There is a very good Baby Lock dealer right up the road from me. I am sure he would be happy to host an event.
Just reading these blogs and responses makes me want to attend one of your events. I am in Ohio, near Dayton, and near Richmond Indiana. Richmond is where my nearest dealer is located, called the Stitching Nook and they are so helpful with any problem that comes up. Becky and I, also want to thank everyone at the Stitching Sister’s event this weekend in Mystic, CT. The event was fantastic. It was much more than either one of us ever anticipated. There was a blog question a while back about why people attend these events and I really thought it was mainly for the techniques. Boy was I wrong. It is so much more. More than I can describe, but fellowship is right up there. The hard work during the two days and all the prep days was incredible. Thank you so much.
Just wanted to give my heartfelt thank you for you for such a wonderful event in Mystic,Ct. I had the best time and you two were so down to earth and friendly.I was very shy to share my projects and you made me feel very comfortable. You have unleashed my embroidery Goddess. =) i bought so many your your products i am not sure what one i want to start first. Handbags to stippling and so any things in between.Thank you both so much for sharing all your tips and techniques with us. I am so glad i went and for anyone reading this if they are in your area get the tickets you wont be disappointed. believe me it is not some boring lecture =) its hands on fun for 2 days straight. I have been an embroiderer for 10 years now and now i have all these great new ideas and items to create.. thank you soo much..and you too Rick from Schillers Sewing
Hi, I live in upstate NY and am considering the October seminar you are ?giving in King of Prussia … question though … do I bring my sewing machine for your seminars or are they provided … or do we even sew during the 2 day event
Hi Margo! No need to bring a machine to a Stitching Sisters event. The event in King of Prussia is sponsored by Baby Lock and includes the use of their top-of-the-line machines. The events are done in a team sewing environment so you’ll have three or four people to machine rotating turns. We do a minimum of 9 projects over the two days so everyone goes home with finished projects. Its a fun, relaxed and educational environment – I hope to see you there!
Just came back from the Stitching Sisters Event in King of Prussia … thank you again for your time and knowledge! It was well worth the 5 hour drive from upstate NY! Looking forward to attending more sessions in the future!
WOULD LOVE YOU TO COME TO PA/NJ SO I CAN GET IN A CLASS, UGGGH MISSED THE KING OF PRUSSIA ONE. PLEASE NOTIFY ME FOR THE NEXT ONE. ARE THERE ANY ONLINE CLASSES, EVEN ONE ON ONE? THANKS BETTY

So very excited to attend the Stitchin Sisters event in Bend!!!!! Eileen and Nancy actually inspired my first embroidery machine purchase a Brother LB6800, what I could afford at the time! Just wish I had the opportunity then to get a machine with a field greater than 4×4 it is so limited, but has been a good place to start! Have been saving since then for an Ellisimo, I search tons of websites daily for one! Well safe travels ladies and see you in June our weather is usually delightful by that time! Thanks for being such a great inspiration.

More than I can describe, but fellowship is right up there. The hard work during the two days and all the prep days was incredible. Thank you so much.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you.

Will you be in the Atlanta, GA area? I had heard there was to be an event there, but do not see it here.
Hi Debra,
Yes, Eileen will be teaching at Discover Sewing– Sept 8-9th. More details will be posted when they are available.
Hope to see you there!
Denise

Do you ever hold events in the Houston TX area? I’d love to attend.

Thank You.
I see a couple of people have already asked if Houston, TX could be added, I’ll chime in for that location too!

Eileen Roche Workshop is listed as in Kennewick, OR. There is no Kennewick in Oregon. Kennewick is in Washington.
You’re so right! Thanks for pointing that out!

I have a Baby Lock 6 needle and have been having lots of fun with it but would love to advance my skills. Any chance of coming to any part of Texas or a bordering state? Please?
